This exclusive yellow pumpkin object is a rare collector’s piece, available only in Naoshima, Japan. Designed after Yayoi Kusama’s iconic yellow pumpkin, this Naoshima-limited piece comes in a specially crafted blue box, made exclusively for the Benesse House Shop.
Each pumpkin is meticulously handcrafted, with black dots applied individually using a syringe—a delicate process that takes three days to complete. The level of detail and precision showcases the exceptional craftsmanship behind every piece.
While the object has a ceramic-like texture, it is made of polyresin, a lighter, more durable material that is less prone to breakage. However, excessive force may still cause cracks or damage.
