Signed in pencil by the artist and annotated "Sonderhanddruck nr 5" ("Special hand-printed proof, no. 5").
Three years later, in 1914, Klemm would publish a series of 12 woodcuts, including this one, on regular wove paper, depicting scenes from Don Quixote. This is an early proof on Japan.
Tape remains on verso, otherwise in perfect condition.
