It is a meeting at six centuries of distance that this edition of the divine comedy of DANTE illustrated by Salvador DALI proposes us. In 1951, he realized the 100 watercolors necessary for the manufacture in 1963 of the 100 magnificent prints (of which this print is a part) printed by the art editions les heures claires. These prints required 4 years of patient and assiduous work. Indeed, 3500 woodcuts were used for their printing. One recognizes well in this work sold by our gallery the surrealist style of DALI which contributes to show the spiritual distraction of the poet DANTE and obliges us to a reflection on us even.
