CENTENNIAL OLYMPIC SUITE
Series of graphic works published by the International Olympic Committee to commemorate the centenary of modern Olympism.
The portfolio is made up of 50 lithographs by international artists representative of the various contemporary artistic trends.
The edition of this folder had a great impact on the artistic world of the time that was transferred to the media. This work has been mentioned in the most important newspapers in Spain.
In the words of ABC: “fifty of the greatest current creators meet for the first time”.
Never before have 50 great artists collaborated dedicating their efforts to the elaboration of a unique work. The homogeneous character of the work is spectacular.
The complete collection has been exhibited on several occasions throughout the national territory.
The inauguration of the same, by D. Juan Antonio Samaranch, took place on Monday, June 29, 1992 at the Colet Museum in Barcelona.
After the exhibition, it was moved to the corresponding pavilion of EXPO'92, held in Seville, where thousands of visitors were able to enjoy it.
